Colette P Saw this because of Gunnar Hansen, he was great! Everything else was painfully unfunny, due to poor execution and lifeless performances. Great concept, poor execution. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This terrible B-horror movie director has a nice spin on things and it almost works for the movie, but it gets too corny and too fixated on being amusing and delivering cheesy lines that in other context might could have worked, it actually becomes too much of a satire that it even falls down on itself. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Some of the jokes fall flat, others are badly telegraphed and it weaves in and out of being a documentary and just a film to the point of distraction but it's hard for me to dislike the movie since I've worked with people like this especially the director, Harry Penderecki...only not as likeable. Now I won't mention any names but if I ever see Danial Diaz again I'll have to ask him if he's ever worked with Stevan Mena because I swear that's who Harry's modeled after. All in all not a bad comedy but not an entirely original one either. The highlight is really the appearances and performances from David (American Werewolf) Naughton, Ellen (Evil Dead) Sandweiss, Brian (Clerks) O' Halloran, Ken (Dawn of the Dead) Foree and most notably Gunner Hansen and Gerry Bednob who steal every scene they're in. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing special here - even a couple of missteps that ultimately detract from the film. But this should appeal to fans of the horror genre and provide some decent laughs. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member a pretty interesting film for film makers Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Potentially brilliant idea plagued by awful writing and cheap production values; much like the film within the film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
