Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Guion bastante original. Ha sido una pelicula agradable de ver, aunque el final esta algo trillado. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a definite keeper. Funny, intelligent, great plot, good shots... I could go only reason it doesn't get a full five stars from me is because of the unrealistic ending. A little TOO "feel good." Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie has never made me feel so connected like Buen Día Ramón. We often see Latino immigration films taking place in Latin America but never in Europe. It was a unique concept that deserves as much attention as it can get. Ramón, played by Kristyian Ferrer, is a young man who comes from Mexico. He lives in a small house with his mother and sick aunt. Ramón does everything he can to support his family and his last attempt to cross the border didn't go his way. Which has made him lose hope. However, a friend has convinced him that there is work in Germany and getting through will be a lot easier. With only a backpack and himself, Ramon's journey begins. What makes this movie great is the difficult moments Ramon is faced to endure. We travel on this roller coaster ride with him. From having to sleep in the train station, getting his book bag stolen, to being deported back to Mexico. Not only does this movie make you feel good but it is also educational. Ramon, an undocumented Mexican, does not have many options in life and is forced to leave his country in order to find a way to support his family. In Germany he learns to assimilate into a culture he knows nothing about. Yet, the language barrier and customs of the German people do not create fear for Ramon. Instead Ramon learns to embrace what he is learning and even takes the time to educate them on Mexico and his culture. If you give this film a chance, it will not disappoint.
