Ryan Gilbey New Statesman The pain experienced while watching Bula Quo! can be dulled slightly by speculating about which stand-up comic will eventually get to demolish the film when it makes its inevitable appearance as part of the Bad Film Club. Jul 11, 2013 Full Review David Jenkins Little White Lies Awful, but never memorably awful. Rated: 1/5 Jul 4, 2013 Full Review Robbie Collin Daily Telegraph (UK) The whole thing is, somehow, even worse than you'd imagine, and the sound is particularly poor, although this may be considered a positive under the circumstances. Jul 4, 2013 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk Amateurish acting, slapdash direction and a ropey plot can't entirely dispel the cockeyed charm of this bizarre screen vehicle for Status Quo frontmen Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt. Nov 9, 2013 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall 60-something men on a madcap tropical romp look more than a little desperate. Especially when the writing, directing and editing are this choppy. Rated: 1/5 Jul 11, 2013 Full Review Stefan Pape HeyUGuys Bula Quo! is absolute nonsense of the highest order. Audience Member Poor acting. stupid script. There are simple scripts. people who should not waste time making movies that should not have been made in the first place. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Complete and utter dog spunk. Fairbrass is the balls, but it just plays like a poor Carry On flick. Really really wank. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member poor acting, bad script and dreadful editing... but it's the quo! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent Film!!! Brilliant Soundtrack!!! Can't wait for DVD to come out!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Weak plot, awful continuity but it's a caper as described by Francis Rossi. Sound track great and lots of fun. A guilty pleasure for middle aged parents and teenage kids. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Just As Predicted, Bad, Watchable, Enjoyable & I Loved It. Status Quo's First Film Is A Comedy In The Style Of A Classic British Farce, With Classic Jokes & Slapstick Humour. Rick & Francis Witness A Murder & Film It. Soon The Local Mafia Find Out & Their On The Run. This Basic Plot Has Been Used Many Times And Personally I'm Sick Of It, But This Opens Up A Large Playing Field For Comedy. My Advice Is If Your Young Avoid It, Not Unless You Enjoy Classic British Sitcom's. Charged With The Mighty Quo's Music, Including The Catchy Title Track, Which Provides An Excellent Soundtrack For The Film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
