I think it's a very fun good story that could have been directed better. I knocked one star off for the crappy music. Mostly annoying music is actually what it is but the rest of the movie I think is very entertaining and a good story. I actually think this movie should have had a sequel it was set up to have one. Would have been good to have one.

Not a perfect movie by any stretch but the story was well told, the characters were compelling and it had a satisfying ending. Judge it against a masterpiece and it'll fall very far but this wasn't attempting to be that. It achieved its ambition of being a fun movie.

I love Wuxia films! Bulletproof Monk is one of my favorite comic action films. An orphan street punk fulfills a number of comic prophesies to become protector of the Immortality Scroll. Not your typical sidekick movie, as the prophecies bring together the lives of people whom at first appear very different but are able to connect spiritually.

Crippled by the PG-13 rating. Their careers have proved that Chow Yun Fat's action and Sean William Scott's comedy are at their best when they're protected by an R rating.
