Apparently set in the US, but very obviously made in the UK—complete with UK police tape, UK plug sockets casually photobombing scenes, and what looks suspiciously like Bodmin Prison standing in for… sunny Florida. Nothing screams "Pacific Northwest serial killer" quite like damp British woods and overcast skies. The filmmakers spend an alarming amount of time wandering through English forests, seemingly convinced they’ve captured the deepest, sun-drenched corners of America. Bless their optimism. As for the acting—calling it wooden feels unfair to timber. Rocking horses have more emotional range. By the end, I wasn’t scared, disturbed, or even mildly tense—just deeply impressed by how confidently wrong everything was.
