Susan It was a very emotional movie for me because I knew someone who died in the 1982 avalanche. The documentary was well done and extremely informative about what all the people went through and what they feel so many years later. The avalanche tech-nical details are a real awakening, and the survivors who worked for Alpine Meadows did what they could for what they knew on that tragic day. There are just so many "if onlys" for so many. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/12/22 Full Review Lorelei C Amazing story and the film was brilliantly directed! If you like documentary films, this is a must-see movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/05/22 Full Review GooglePhil A A real story of courage, determination and survival . A great piece of film making. Both victory and loss, happiness and sadness. Buried is a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/01/22 Full Review Gary B Music so loud much of the talking couldn't be heard. Sound people messed up what could've been great. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/24 Full Review Koi P Compelling. Emotional. Impactful. The music is loud over the speaking, but the music selection is appropriate. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review Dave L A truly great documentary! Rated: 3/4 Sep 19, 2022 Full Review Lael Loewenstein FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) What struck me about this film was how extremely well-made it was. Nov 30, 2022 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Gripping, cinematic and well-edited. Oct 1, 2022 Full Review Peter Canavese Groucho Reviews A highly interesting document of a pretty potent story told in its entirety. Rated: 3/4 Sep 29, 2022 Full Review Robin Holabird Robin Holabird The story itself remains strong; it inspired a book called Wall of White and could easily turn into a dramatic film. No need for that though, the documentary Buried provides a factual and illuminating look at people with their weaknesses and strengths. Rated: B+ Sep 26, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
