Michael Wilmington Chicago Tribune Bushwhacked isn't much of a movie. But it made me laugh more than I'd like to admit. Rated: 2.5/4 May 28, 2013 Full Review Leonard Klady Variety Riddled with noble sentiments and good intentions, this great-outdoors hijinx is hiking familiar trails with a combination of bathroom humor, cute kids and a fuzzy, happy ending. Regina M I don't care how stupid of a movie it is. This movie was HILARIOUS to me as a kid. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/24 Full Review Brianna B As an adult, yeah this movie is kind of stupid, but I still enjoy it from childhood. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/26/23 Full Review Stephen C LOL, the funniest 1.5 hours ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/28/22 Full Review Audience Member While Bushwhacked never approached VHS Hall of Fame status I do remember watching this a fair amount growing up and I was always a fan of Daniel Stern from his Wet Bandits work. The story is as cliche as it gets and the humor is pretty tame but this lower rating still had to overcome the faintly pleasant nostalgic scent this flick presented. I can still picture the handwritten label on the blank VHS that was used to tape this during one of those free HBO weekends they would do 25 years ago in an attempt to get new subscribers. Jon Polito and Anthony Heald are faces I always like seeing show up in my 90s flicks. 4.5/10 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Laughs, action, adventure, and drama, yeah it works in this over-the-top family comedy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member It may not be an oscar caliber film, but if youre a Daniel Stern fan(like myself) you'll enjoy it.
