Bisquiteen T Jan 3 I really do love that this story about aspiring actors starred some of the worst imaginable. The brunette actor is competent enough, but most everyone else is a mess. The main blonde sort of improves throughout the movie, but the idea that some "legacy director" ever wanted her for anything other than, well, what he wanted her for, was pretty obviously ridiculous. Making the drug use plotline such a big part of the movie and the hilarious idea that the blonde would land a part in a major film make how this ends up for everyone really clear from the beginning. I'm not offended by that. I don't need some dumb twist. I'm glad there's no dumb twist. Yet, this movie also had nothing original to say, and that fact compounded with a cast and crew who barely knew what they were doing while making a film about filmmaking...well, I guess I could say I *am* at least annoyed by that. Also, meth guy, don't hold it in like it's weed, and you put the tourniquet ABOVE the injection site, not below it. See more 10/06/2018 ironically a movie about actresses trying to make it... but the actual actresses cant act. Very predictable See more 09/04/2018 Timely and captivating film about the lure and pitfalls of breaking into the "movie biz" as an actor. The gritty and dark side of Hollywood is portrayed in a real and moving piece. The characters draw you in to their challenges and disappointments in reaching for the stars. Throughly enjoyed the storytelling by new director and writer Manny Rodriguez Jr. and think you will as well. See more Read all reviews
