      kevin w Based on true events in the life of young Julius Caesar, this early 60s Italian sword and sandal is a simple adventure thriller as our hero is kidnapped by pirates and has to fight his way out. Luckily the pirate leader's girlfriend has a soft spot for old Julius. It's costume adventure fun that still delivers. As well, there's plenty of background scenery if one's attention is not held by the story, all of it breathing heavily and in tight clothes.
