Audience Member British remake of "The Asphalt Jungle" set in 1960s Egypt. The film is directed with noiry style by Wolf Rilla, but the other than the unique setting, the film really does not bring much to the classic original. Even the usually reliable George Sanders, as the mastermind of the operation, seems to sleepwalk through the film. It's not a bad film, but it definitely could have been a lot better. Watching this film mostly just made me want to re-watch the original, remembering how good it was comported to this film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
