Andrew Schenker Slant Magazine It's all a pleasant enough idyll, or maybe even a dream, but as an exercise in philosophically-grounded whimsy, Camille's time travels fall short. Rated: 2/4 Sep 18, 2012 Full Review Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat Spirituality & Practice A delightful French comedy about change, the past, and time travel. Rated: 3/5 Sep 16, 2016 Full Review Andrew L. Urban Urban Cinefile This playful, sometimes whimsical, always engaging take on a familiar storytelling theme - alternative futures - manages to make the fantasy meaningful Apr 27, 2013 Full Review Louise Keller Urban Cinefile The film is at its most successful in its depiction of perspective and the old adage that time brings the wisdom to differentiate between the things we can and cannot change Apr 27, 2013 Full Review Kent Turner Film-Forward.com The film plays the scenario straight and seriously ... the lessons learned don't take much of a detour from what Peggy Sue discovered in her time travel. Aender S The plot is good and interesting. Acting too, albeit the school theatre director is totally overacting. There is one thing off in this film though: When Camille is back in the past, the cars and common day objects are real ones from the 1980s, but almost all are in mint condition, no wear and totally clean. A worthwhile film nonetheless, treating time travel, involuntary here, in a more female way. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/08/24 Full Review Audience Member "?????????????????" "???????????????????????????..." ??????????????????? ?????? ?????? ????????? ????????????? ???????? ??????? ??????? BTW ?????? ?????????????? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I was disappointed. The 80's setting is pretty wasted and I don't think it worked having her appearance stay the same even though she's meant to have reverted back to her teenage self. Not as funny or interesting as it sounded. It's a shame. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Totalmente patológica, la trama de Camille Redouble sólo perpetúa la falsa creencia de que el amor es sufrimiento y un eterno tropezarse con la misma piedra. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny and moving story. Although it's a little bit weird that Camille returns to her 16 years old life looking 40, the scenes placed in the 80s are quite entertaining and have great dialogues. This is not a brilliant or remarkable movie but it will make you laugh a lot. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member A gentle, whimsical French film in which Camille moves back in time from her 40th birthday to her 16th year. The film surely has a predictable plot - her attempts to change the events that she knows are going to happen in the future - but some clever twists and turns, and not least the humour, keeps the viewer's attention. A rom-com with a (big) difference. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
