The premise suggests a moody, atmospheric story, yet the film never commits to building real tension or emotional investment. Key story details are either rushed or completely missing, making the narrative feel incomplete and unfocused. The screenplay is the film’s biggest flaw. Dialogue feels cheap and awkward, often trying to sound spooky instead of natural or threatening. Rather than creating suspense, many lines pull you out of the experience. The acting is uneven, with most performances feeling stiff and inexperienced, as if the cast is reading directly from the script instead of embodying their characters. Direction and pacing do little to elevate the material. The scares rarely land, the atmosphere never fully forms, and the film feels flat from beginning to end. They gave away too many hints at the beginning of the movie so there is no shock at the end. The jump scares were fun though, even if there is no real mystery.
