Yani A I love highschool love. Unmatured, clichés, cringe, funny, typical, kids, nerd, cant stop arguing Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/27/23 Full Review Audience Member not bad but nothing special and gets really predictable a little ways in Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review glen a The nicest thing I can say about this movie is that it is not completely devoid of any redeeming qualities, but it was so dull that there was no point in time that I was interested in it for the 30 minutes that I gave it before giving up and leaving the room. I give it a D - Just don't bother Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It was a very nice film! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member quite nice with good lesson about having fun in life, no matter where you go. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Greg M It's worth watching if for no other reason so you can give birth to a new found disgust for the idiocy of fast talking rambling BS that appears to be the debate club world. I have a feeling the portrayal is accurate, which makes me wonder why there's no clause added to debates that state one must be clear and coherent with your speech or face automatic disqualification for trying to exploit an obvious flaw that only pollutes the entire session... Otherwise, it's a pretty normal ride. Very predictable. Decently enjoyable. But it's not going to make your top ten list or anything. This is one case where the rotten tomatoes score seems to reflect pretty accurately. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/22/19 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Andrea Thompson The Spool The genius of Candy Jar is not in how much of Lona and Bennett's journey feels new. It's the sense of perspective and even realism inherent in their story that makes a case for the ways we can learn and grow from failure and loss. Feb 4, 2019 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Positive message, but tame, predictable and the few jokes that work die of loneliness. Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 12, 2018 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Herald Sun (Australia) Though supposedly on the same side, Bennett and Lona will stop at nothing to one-up each other until ... well, what do you reckon? Rated: 2.5/5 May 11, 2018 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Candy Jar is a surprisingly sweet and touching teen romance drama that goes down easy and had me craving seconds. Rated: 9/10 May 6, 2018 Full Review Eddie Strait The Daily Dot 'Candy' turns out to be the most apropos way to describe Candy Jar. It's reliably sweet and empty, a fine choice for anyone looking for a light option. Rated: 2.5/5 May 3, 2018 Full Review Barbara Shulgasser Common Sense Media Drama about debate team rivals has some cursing. Rated: 3/5 May 2, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
