Matt Brunson Film Frenzy As portrayed by the stiff Acquanetta, Paula Depree / The Ape Woman is a dull character in either form. Valerii Ege D Probably the most boring horror movie in Universal Horror. Like the whole film was designed for Milburn Stone so he could impress some people. The only gain for me is that the movie introduced me to Acquanetta. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/13/23 Full Review Steve D complete and total nonsense. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/29/23 Full Review Blobbo X Blobbo never knew Gunsmoke's Doc Adams was good lion tamer. Funny to see Milburn Stone and sheriff from Rifleman Paul Fix in same movie. One of Mickey Rooney's wives in here, too. Cute. ok, maybe 3 stars? But ... geez. So hokey Also, lion and tiger "taming" not nice to beasts. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Very boring. Doesn't live up to it's fun premise. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Though it clearly defies reason, the lively thriller has a fine sinister performance by Carradine and a crazy tale to spin that is strangely palpable. There's lots of  recycled footage of Clyde Beatty from the 1932's The Big Cage, where he's taming the big cats. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member No, this is not 50 Shades of Gray. It's actually Universal's attempt to launch a female lead in horror films, the Ape Woman. They managed to make three forgettable films in this series. It should be considered a sin that they tried to turn the beautiful actress Acquanetta into a female version of Wolfman or Mr. Hyde. Too much lion tamer and circus footage as well. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
