Yes there isn't anything for the adults to enjoy but this is a kids movie with good messages that your kids might ask you questions about. (Spoilers!!) The fact that there is a redemption arc to this movie is enough where I talked to my kid about the fact that not all bad guys/bullies are bad but sometimes they need something, and sometimes they are just missing something out of their lives. Also that some people are just going to be bad (we ain't rose colored glasses here). The important thing is there is a very good message about caring for others in this movie. While there might be some parts that concern/scare your child (as they should) those moments are short lived but that's why you are there for them. Also off the record they should do a reboot or reunion with remaining cast members there's not too many people left that would have a reunion four a kid's show like care bears also this kind of show brought out the best in children music and art and traveling mass and cartoons of that era. Well the story makes little sense and it straight up messes up with the established lore set by the first movie (with the care bear cousins), the songs still suck, the title is straight up clickbait, and the two blonde kids are obvious copycats of the kids from the first movie. But what works about the movie? the animation is still pleasant enough with some pleasing colors, the villain is probably the best in the entire franchise, and i think that's about it. overall worse than the first movie, but it has barley enough to save it in the end.
