Audience Member This movie is embarrassingly bad. Produced by the Philippine movie cartel and acted by untalented but well-connected actors that was aimed (successfully as usual) to appeal on emotions of typical Filipino movie-goers like me. Filipino Independent films are likely to be better these days, artistically and psychologically. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I watched a parts of the movie on TV while my wife was watching it. It's was actually shoot in a very realistic way. Nicely done. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member So heart-warming and sure to bring you tears. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I like watching Sharon Movies, for some reason, her movies shooting location and cinematography are quite reflective of the reality of Filipino society. For this movie, the issue of migrant workers was told in a very honest way. Working abroad doesn't mean the person earns more money, but it's how one uses that "more money" in pursuit of their happiness. As I watch this movie, it made me feel sad as or affected in a way, as it is all very true, as I've seen it happen in real life. But it is what it is now, the worsening poverty due to corruption, inequality, and hopelessness prevalent in the Filipino society are pushing people to take their chance somewhere else to look for the greener pasture, not knowing if the grass is truly greener on the other side. It also subtly displayed the issues of human/racial relationships, inter-cultural work differences, and most especially the distinction between ego, humility, and service. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Long story,,,a movie w/ a heart for elders & how can survive w/ a very difficult job...
