Synopsis
From July 20 to 22, 2001, the 27th G-8 summit is held in Genoa, Italy. As powerful politicians discuss their plans for the world's future, protests flare in the streets. Carlo Giuliani is among those who participate in the violent clashes between the people and the state, until a policeman's bullet ends his life. Focused on an interview with Carlo's grieving mother, this documentary explores how speaking out for peace and justice can entail severe sacrifices.
