I suspect it plays a bit fast and loose with the facts, but it is often quite funny and well-worth the effort, especially for any fans of Brazilian culture. Marieta Severo (Chico Buarque's ex-wife) is very good in the title role. The film was among the first of the current creative wave of Brazilian film-making.
