Here we get a good example of taking a fun concept, running with it, and just allowing the story and cast to have fun, directing them into a coherent ensemble and giving the viewers a few good views of the monster.

Brutal opening right from the go, can only hope for a bit of Terror with the mutilation. This is a spatterfest of gooey cut ups, so much fun wrapped in a fiendish pumpkin. So yeah, the film gave me the terror my black heart craved. This should be a staple watch each new Halloween, good bloody fun, pumpkin style.

Great practical effects but so much 2024 “lets include everyone and shove it in your face” look, i’m all for including everyone in movies but you dont need to shove it down our throats. Just focus on the horror story. Such a great idea and concept for a halloween themed movie, but falls flat so quickly. Looks like this pumpkin horror movie is rotten

Entertainment that can be a great treat for “extremist” fans of the trash horror genre, as all the “ingredients” are there, but for me, even though I had fun at times, the production didn’t use the right “recipe” for a carved pumpkin to be a Halloween revenge.
