Here we get a good example of taking a fun concept, running with it, and just allowing the story and cast to have fun, directing them into a coherent ensemble and giving the viewers a few good views of the monster.

Unfortunately Carved won’t be a new Halloween classic. The script is long-winded and the story grows stagnant. The chemistry is lacking within this ensemble of actors and the special effects come across cheesy as times.

as a horror-loving teenager, i would kindly not recommend this movie to anyone unless you want a movie that puts you to sleep. these characters have no survival skills which is absolutely tacky.

This movie was exactly what it claimed to be, a silly horror comedy that kept us cracking up. These low reviews are silly, what where you expecting from a movie about a pumpkin that becomes "aware" and starts killing people? It's not going to be thought provoking and life changing. Just have a drink and watch the movie.

FUN!!!!!! This movies vibe is nestled in with greats such as Tremors, Evil Dead and Gremlins. It's definitely not taking it's self to seriously and what a trip that pumpkin is! I LOL and was genuinely scared/creeped out! A wickedly fun watch!!

This movie was absolutely terrible. all of the disney channel characters that were in it still act like they did in 2010 and 2015 and it’s just not good. the script was terrible and the effects looked bad as well. the old man who was fixing that corn truck at the start has an annoying voice and the relationship between the girl and broadway kid was just embarrassing. also the little boy just makes everything worse

One of the few movies where I simply had to root for the villain. Imagine having your babies massacred. Then you go out on a killing spree to avenge their death but the baby killers have the gall to act like they’re the victims (for all intents and purposes this is a joke) but you gotta feel for that mother pumpkin when the main character held another one of her babies hostage. The movie itself had its moments and the actors are great. I had a good laugh. If you want to watch a movie that will make you laugh and cringe at the same time I highly recommend this
