It is about Judge Cass Timberlane who marries a girl from the wrong side of the tracks.Spencer Tracy and Lana Turner give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. George Sidney did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and romance. In the opening scene we see Cass Timberlane denying a divorce and stating what marriage should mean to two people. As the movie progresses his own marriage falls apart.
