Though Catching Dust eventually settles into a more conventional noir register, Gatt commits to his characters and follows them to unlikely destinations. Go to Full Review

“Catching Dust” should be a character study of two very different couples and how they influence one another, but it never quite takes these people seriously enough to work on that level. Go to Full Review

The pieces of greatness gather throughout, but they keep managing to dodge one another, instead trading glancing blows focused on internal pain. This could all work very well with a more balanced film between the four leads. Go to Full Review

As a relationship drama with a crime backdrop, Catching Dust is well worth getting lost in. Go to Full Review

In a general sense, I enjoyed my time with Catching Dust, but at the same time, I wish I could’ve liked it more. Nevertheless, if you’re looking for a well-shot and well-acted Western-inspired feature, you should definitely give it a chance. Go to Full Review

Gabrielle G @KarmaBytch Nov 10 The « actress » chosen for Amaya’s role is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. She exuded no empathy and no charisma. Her acting is truly awful and tarnish the rest of the film. Not to mention the scandal she caused on the film! See more Daniel N Aug 7 I was really looking forward to this movie but was left bitterly disappointed. Let down by bad writing this movie makes no sense and goes nowhere very slowly. Great performances by Jai Courtney and Erin Moriarty but when the movie ends you're left feeling confused and unsatisfied. See more Jeffrey P Mar 20 Slow build of tension and conflict as it takes too long to develop any sense of meaning or purpose, and most interest is lost by the mid way point. Sets up for something big to be revealed or happen when things are finally revealed and all comes to a head, but nothing much is and nothing much does. See more Avindu G Jan 31 A story where perfect mirages takes a deadly physical neighbourly intrusive form. A couple's resentment gets unearthed by the brutal winds of change. Couple of messengers are a mirage he draws same as distressed housewife and she plants and keen on sustenance as the lonely hunter does, it's the perfect storm in the calm deserted hideout. Like the growing kettle of vultures the visuals are rich with symbolism. Great tone of colours fixing the audience on what's to be seen in every frame. Great audio effects. Perfect work by the cast portraying the emotions. A slow burning thriller that has the right amount of triggers to keep the audience hooked. See more Read all reviews
