Catwoman, aka Selina Kyle, has no qualms about risking her nine lives when a prize like the world's most valuable emerald is the reward. But with Batwoman and Interpol maneuvering to spoil her fun, she must tread lightly. Complicating this game of cat and mouse is the global crime juggernaut Leviathan, deadly assassins, and a trail of twist and turns that may just trip up this nefarious feline.

Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast Catwoman's character would have been much better served with a longer film. In general, this whole movie is lacking quite a bit of story and character development. ... Frankly, it could have been one of DC Showcase's animated shorts. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 5, 2023 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media This is a solid superhero story with the anime style being its most distinctive feature. Rated: 3/5 Jun 15, 2022 Full Review Ricky Church Flickering Myth Catwoman: Hunted is a more than worthy adventure for Selina Kyles first animated feature. The animation is rich, the cast is great with Elizabeth Gillies and Stephanie Beatriz being the standouts and the story is highly entertaining and well paced. Mar 23, 2022 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Rarely rakes itself seriously so its hard to knock it for being too frivolous. Given the more serious slant of recent DC Animation projects, it might have been more interesting to make Selina work harder for her big score. Rated: 5/10 Mar 3, 2022 Full Review Allison Rose FlickDirect What Catwoman: Hunted lacks in plot, it makes up for with chase/fight scenes. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 24, 2022 Full Review Sam Stone CBR Catwoman: Hunted is a gorgeous anime film that channels its fan-favorite inspirations into a genuinely thrilling adventure with familiar DC icons. Konstantinos K Out of context movie. You have to know the the entirety of the DCU to follow what happens and even then is difficult. I mostly blame the plot for that. Batwoman and Cheshire behave like they where not themselfs. Lots of fighting scenes but without impact (other than big boss fight maybe), one moment they where hurt really bad the next they knew nothing. Overall, it's ok to pass some time but has nothing to offer in the mythos of the universe or the characters. P.S. There where some hints of forced feminism just for the sake of it. I don't know why when you already have two of the most badasses female character of DC. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/21/23 Full Review Michael N First off, I loved the ambiance of the film! The music was second to none. The Jazz gave it that vibe of the Batman '66 with a hint of the Batman animated series. The voice acting was great too, much better in my opinion than many other DC animated films. If only the live Catwoman film was as good as this one. Would love to see a sequel and Catwoman in a purple '90s costume! 🐈‍⬛ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/15/23 Full Review Jacques B I didn't hate this movie, but I found it campy and forgettable. The film wants to take a lighthearted approach, but the timing of the quips often feels forced and breaks the immersion. Batwoman's voice switch from macho to teensy-girl voice is awkward, and, knowing that she's a lesbian, I was often sort of empathetically offended by this really odd attempt at a parallel between the Bruce Wayne/Batman voice change dynamic. The fight scenes are often exaggerated in scale to a Tartakovsky level (think Samurai Jack) without the fun, and they dodge bullets in a fairly GI Joe way. There's also too many fight scenes for my taste, and not enough character development. It ends up a little empty. On a more positive note, the animation style is pretty smooth, and if you can get over the fact that every enemy is one-shot-dead, you can see a concerted effort to build interesting fight scenes. I was amused at all the "catfights", where Selena was put up against various cat-themed foes. Batwoman was present but did not take over the show, which is good because it's a Catwoman movie. It's a women-dominated movie, with a very small number of male antagonists, and I enjoyed the female characters getting more time in the limelight,. I would rent it and watch it once, if you're really into DC animated. Don't buy it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/14/23 Full Review Bobby2005 It's a decent DC movie. With Anime-style animation, good music, etc. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/23 Full Review Abhishek M This was just a breath of fresh air. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Chris M I love the almost anime style animation. The story are all perfect and the action works. The runtime flies past with the excellent pacing. If this was the live action "Catwoman" movie, it'd had been a smash hit. Finally the Catwoman solo movie the character deserves. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
