Audience Member FOR TRUE SALSA FANS! LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Shown on PBS channel. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Although it goes on a bit too long, this is a really enjoyable documentary about the life and times of Celia Cruz, Cuba's most famous singer who wasn't allowed to perform or be heard in Cuba after the revolution. Also the film shows the roots of salsa music and how salsa has spread around the world. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member All the elements were there for a great celebration of Celia Cruz, but I felt they didn't have enough focus. Was it a documentary about her careeer, a celebration of her life, or a memorial? It tried to be all, but wasn't any. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
