Kevin M This movie was released in 2006, but screams 80's low-budget creature feature. It has all the prerequisites that Era had. First, the story starts with 2 guys releasing a mutated Tasmanian devil 😈 near a Cemetery. It just so happens that a group of college students are coming to shoot a zombie movie there. Enough said, and this is where all the blood soaked, humorous death shots take place. The monster is all practical effects and looks pretty good with all those teeth. The ending is good and has room for a part 2. I can only hope. If you grew up on 80's campy, horror, then give this a view. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Aside from some awesome gore, Cemetery Gates manages to be a rather tedious, badly made, poorly acted, and tedious piece of B-level horror cinema that does nothing to make itself even remotely memorable. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The trajectory and direction of this film is misguided by cheesy effects, goofy acting, and a trailer that overall renders the movie as a predictable mess. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Reggie Bannister vs. a Giant rubber rodent. This has to be a cult classic. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Laughed my ass off while watching it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Laughable and silly. The acting is horrendous (even for a B movie), but the one-liners from some of the victims are entertaining. Because of the bad script, non-scary music and lack of any visual effects to set the tone, it's not quite a fit for my "so bad it's good" pile. But it has a decent concept and more than enough over the top fake blood and guts to keep you going. 2 stars for the unique concept and obvious over the top gore, both of which I enjoy in a tongue and cheek monster film.
