Deborah Ross The Spectator Chalet Girl is banal, witless, slushy, laboured and dull. Aug 30, 2018 Full Review Rachel Saltz New York Times Pleasant if timid... Rated: 3/5 Oct 13, 2011 Full Review David Fear Time Out Jones may be a charismatic comedian, but no amount of her skilled mugging, Britpop tunes or help from supporting stars can transform this derivative ugly duckling into a comic Anglophile swan. Rated: 1/5 Oct 11, 2011 Full Review Michael Leader Den of Geek It is this conflict, between cynicism and ambition, that begins to define Chalet Girl... Rated: 2/5 May 7, 2024 Full Review Matt Looker TheShiznit.co.uk It's hard not to instantly forgive all the script's occasional faults and just be swept up in the feel-good nature of such a charming, easily-likable release. Audience Member splendid the movie should have been called Snowboard Girl but then again it prolly wouldnt have sounded as good again another overly-cliche storyline is told with high energy and some good laughs the locales are stunning, the acting isnt too shabby, plus you got some fun cameos from Bill Nighy to Brooke Shields they serve no real purpose though but just to support the main actress Felicity Jones really struts her stuff here and is quite radiant at the same time such a positive energy really lifts up the confidence boost and the soundtrack really won me over, too no need to skip this one because its a British comedy that will warm your heart and appeal to snowboarders and non-snowboarders alike without being so pretentious no just for girls too ya know Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/12/24 Full Review liz R Very cute film! Yes it's predictable, but it's funny and sweet along the way. Lots to like 😊 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Carlos T Filme: A Menina do Chalé Assistido: 23-8-23 Elenco: @felicity.jones @edwestwick @tamsinegertonofficial @brookeshields @sophiabush Modelo: #comedia #comediaromantica #comedy #romance Duração: 1h 37m Ano: 2011 Minha opinião: Uma comédia romântica e temos a participação de Brooke Shields (lagoa Azul o original). Relaxar e assistir. Vale apena assistir? Sim. Nota: 6 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Alan T So much critic negativity here. This is a does what it says on the tin movie. It's certainly feel good, well acted, easy characters to watch, fabulous scenery and Bill Nighy, what else do you want! I laughed and cried and laughed again. Don't miss the end credits, brilliant! If you need an uplift and don't get snowboarding then watch this movie. I personally don't think you will be disappointed, but don't expect your grey matter to be challenged too much!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/24/23 Full Review Jennifer G A feel-good movie with loads of laughs. Loved it xx Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review Marcus T Formulaic sports/rom/com. Nothing new here. Even the on-snow shots are underwhelming. Best I can say is good looking actors/actresses. Maybe good for a few chuckles.
