Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express A sentimental climactic twist ends up being surprisingly not schmaltzy, and gives an interesting touch to Chalo Dilli. It could have been, though, shorter and crisper. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 2, 2019 Full Review Manish Gajjar Birmingham Mail Proficiently scripted, convincing dialogues and with easily recognisable locations, Chalo Dilli is a satisfying watch. Audience Member How did this film not get as much recognition, very entertaining. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Chalo Dilli has an excellent first half, though falls a bit edgy throughout the second. However, Vinay Pathak's performance and the outstanding entry of Akshay Kumar's cameo saves it from falling deep down. A movie specially for the all-family! Recommended! (One Time Watch) Verdict = Above Average Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A film with absolutely no subtlety and lazy characterization. However, a typically great performance by Vinay Pathak and a surprisingly good one by Lara Dutta lift this movie and in fact do more than just that - they make it quite enjoyable. The Bollywood touches are thrown in - the item number, the needless guest appearance by a big star and the perfunctory song on the train. But for every cliche that this film throws at us, it avoids another one. Worth a watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie! Lara Dutta and Vinay Pathak are truly great actors. Both did great job. You will enjoy the movie. Kaun si badi baat hogayi. WATCH IT. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Hs some really funny moments. Vinay Pathak is brilliant; but Lara Dutta surprised me with a good performance. A little of 'Due Date' and quite a bit of 'Planes, Trains, Automobiles'; but beautifully captured in the essence of India. Got to watch it for Vinay Pathak's splendid performance... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member First half was good, but somehow the second half fell flat and took the same old tried and trusted path :| Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
