Audience Member This dark coming of age drama looks at the lives of two friends, one who has to deal with his father's alcoholism and another with her mother's worsening mental state. Dark and hypnotic, this film's only flaw is that occasionally it feels like it drags a little. However, Gaglianone's stylistic touches and impressive character study make this a compelling examination on the struggles and unglamorous lives of the poorer and neglected teenagers, as well as an intense portrayal of everyday tragedy.
