LaToya Ferguson AV Club Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang are always the right medicine for any and every holiday. Nov 12, 2018 Full Review Troy Patterson Slate Witnessing the principle in action last night inspired some ready-made nostalgia and some ritualized pleasure. It affirmed the conviction that Charlie Brown is not just a good man, but a beautiful loser. Nov 9, 2018 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: C Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Justin Brown Medium Popcorn Watching this makes me laugh because it's so out of control and ridiculous. Rated: 2/5 Nov 28, 2022 Full Review Brandon Collins Medium Popcorn This special is out of control for a plethora of reasons but it's still mildly entertaining. Rated: 2/5 Nov 28, 2022 Full Review Michael Walsh Nerdist The Great Pumpkin may be infinitely memorable, but the Thanksgiving special has a better story and themes more meaningful for the holiday it is celebrating. annette Z is this the only thanksgiving kids special Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/12/24 Full Review Teddy B I cannot for the life of me understand why the general public holds this special to the same masterful regards as 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' and 'It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' and a special like 'Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown' isn't. It isn't bad, by all means, it just feels very disjointed and makes Peppermint Patty such an unlikeable prat. You can definitely tell that this special was made in the middle of a directorial overhaul by just how much time is spent on characters like Snoopy just doing things that really stop the plot in its tracks. Maybe I'm missing a key aspect of the special, but I highly doubt it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review Audience Member It's already 50 years old and remains as timeless as ever The 3rd Peanuts special focuses on the time of giving and being thankful Charlie Brown is expected to hold a big Thanksgiving dinner, much to a lot of pressure from Peppermint Patty But Charlie Brown is scheduled to go to his grandmothers I love the 1970s jazz here, the fun stuff from Snoopy and Woodstock making the dinner in their own way, and some nice moments 25 minutes long yet it has good slapstick and laughs along with a better story and themes Even the complaining from Peppermint Patty is hilarious Everything could be solved if Charlie Brown could just speak up but the special is another worthy addition to a long legacy of this cartoon by Charles Schulz As always it's the right medicine to cure the holiday blues Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/23/23 Full Review Thomas M An all time great, this amazing trilogy ( Great Pumpkin , Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas) are as big part of the holidays as any tradition. And i will never forgive AppleTV for taking it away from the children. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/12/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 25 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
