Cheech and Chong's enduring partnership begins like the start of a classic joke set-up: "a Chicano kid from South Central LA and a half-Chinese Motown musician meet at a strip club in Canada", and ends with one of the most iconic duos in entertainment history. In the 1970s, Cheech & Chong redefined stand-up comedy, blending drugs, sex, rock'n'roll, and improvisation into a genre-shaping act. Their multicultural, irreverent humor turned them into icons, counterculture rock stars, and Hollywood legends. Raucous, accessible, and explosively funny, their groundbreaking stoner humor has translated into sold-out concerts, platinum-selling records, and box-office-smashing films. The two have reached professional and personal heights well beyond their wildest dreams, while suffering their share of fallouts and stumbles, becoming a comedy rite of passage for multiple generations. How did Cheech and Chong ignite imaginations and stay relevant over 50 years? Join them for one last ride to find out....

Peter Rainer FilmWeek (LAist) It's an interesting experiment in how you can talk about the same [personal] issues and have completely different views on it. Jun 4, 2025 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Variety Even as we think we’re on a quaint road trip of nostalgia, one that’s probably more scripted than it looks, the two start to bicker and argue about stuff, and the quibbling is real. Apr 29, 2025 Full Review Tim Grierson Screen International An amiable tribute to the influential 1970s comedy duo, Cheech & Chong’s Last Movie will probably not convince younger viewers to tune into their back catalogue, but fans should enjoy this nostalgic walk down memory lane. Apr 25, 2025 Full Review William Schwartz Book & Film Globe Cheech and Chong’s Last Movie is as much about a bygone era where people conceptualized comedy itself in completely different terms as it is a documentary about Cheech and Chong specifically. Aug 30, 2025 Full Review Erik Childress Movie Madness Podcast A lot of knowledge can be gained about the origins of the comedy duo here but the authenticity of who they are in old interviews is frequently interrupted by such a phony and staged road trip that doesn’t get real until a brief moment just before it ends. Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 28, 2025 Full Review Rosa Parra The Latino Slant “Cheech and Chong’s Last Movie” is an insightful doc about one of the most iconic comedy duos of recent times. For those who didn’t grow up during their prime, this film is a must-see. For those who did, it offers a delightful walk down memory lane. Rated: 8/10 Jun 2, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Danny Cheech & Chong Still Rock !!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/30/25 Full Review 27dodgers loved the raw history between the two. such an important piece of history that they gave to their fans. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/26/25 Full Review ART R. Basically a documentary, it brought back a lot of memories and reminded me of just how popular Cheech & Chong were back then. I actually enjoyed it more than most documentaries I have seen. Of course, their saga ends almost like so many music bands do...uncordially. Nonetheless, it appeared that Cheech and Tommy reunited and reconciled without hiding their true past, which, in my humble opinion, is commendable. This gave a "true ring" to the movie/documentary which made it more enjoyable overall. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/07/25 Full Review Pete D Enjoyable history lesson Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/04/25 Full Review Dalton Don’t like documentaries Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review TimeTourist I learned a lot that I didn't know about Cheech and Chong. It was an interesting way to present the material. The only thing I didn't like was the high price of the movie snacks. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/01/25 Full Review Read all reviews
