Perennially stoned Cheech (Cheech Marin) and Chong (Thomas Chong) tear through the city of Los Angeles, causing trouble wherever they go. After Cheech loses his job, the two pot enthusiasts head to the welfare offices where Cheech's girlfriend, Donna (Evelyn Guerrero), works. Instead of collecting unemployment, they find themselves thrown back on the streets, searching for a way to earn new income. But when Cheech's cousin, "Red" Mendoza (Rikki Marin), arrives, things get even crazier.

Their creative process in action is just one of the archival treats in the film. It's a jam-packed two hours of pop cultural hindsight that is part extended sketch, part couples therapy, and part traditional doc. True fans will appreciate all three

None of the comedy team's subsequent starring vehicles quite matched the good vibes of Up in Smoke, although their sophomore film, Cheech and Chong's Next Movie, probably came closest.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é mais ou menos, depois do 1 Filme, Cheng e chong voltam, e continuam com suas loucuras, como a cena Do começo que os dois pegam um latão de lixo cheio de gasolina e despejam no tanque do carros deles, de resto o filme não teve nada demais, e o elenco quase não ajudou em porra nenhuma.

It's a weaker film than Up In Smoke, but it's still hilarious. It plays more like a sketch comedy, with the pair performing bits from their comedy act, rather than going through a conventional plot. So it feels less a little more disjointed to me for that reason. But it doesn't make it any less fun, there's some great bits here.

Just as great as "Up in Smoke", I loved how it had more of a "day in the life" feel to it than "Up in Smoke", I liked seeing the additions of Donna and Pee Wee Herman, sadly this would be Cheech & Chong's last great film, highly recommended if you like watching stoner comedies or feelgood films.
