Victor O With a title like this, I can only imagine it was a campy movie in the style of Bring It On. But I see hot girls in cheerleader outfits, and I cannot resist. This is also a Lifetime movie so there are some decent actresses with a cheesy script. Sophia, a teenage girl who has been cheerleading since she was little gets the chance of a lifetime for a cheerleader scholarship. Little does she know there is someone else in the running for the scholarship in Victoria. As talented as Sophia but without a conscience and under pressure from her mother. Deception abounds as Victoria pretends to be friends with Sophia all as Sophia's real friends come to her rescue. Bring it On with Texas Cheerleader Killing stories. It was even cheesier than I expected it to be, but the girls were hot. Sydney Malakeh, Jacqueline Scislowski, Andrea Bogart, and Mariah Robinson are lovely and talented actresses. It was a decent time waster but nothing else. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie has neither cheer, nor camp, nor killer. The plot moves at a sedated crawl towards an underwhelming end. Spoiler alert: no one dies. The titular "killer," Victoria, seems more bored than anything. Whether she's sleeping with an older man (which is never addressed), sneaking into clubs in a short skintight dress (that she brought with her to a cheer camp at a college??) (Also she's 17???), or literally kidnapping and threatening a fellow camper with death, she has the same bored instagram model face the whole time. This movie doesn't even have the decency to be funny in its badness. I feel like my lifeforce has actively been drained. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
