Mark Dinning Empire Magazine Mohr is as fun as ever, and Biehn hogs the standout scene with fantastically bad, tongue-in-cheek gravitas. Rated: 3/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review William Gallagher BBC.com It becomes a balance between gory and very silly. Rated: 2/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Paul Lê Bloody Disgusting The film is audacious and thought provoking even in its sterilized state. Apr 5, 2022 Full Review Trace Thurman Horror Queers Podcast Though marred by edits made to satisfy a post-Columbine world, Cherry Falls still manage to be one of the more effective (and funny) post-Scream slashers. Roy P Definitely a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/24 Full Review alan p Half decent slasher movie with a phenomenal leading turn from the massively underrated Brittany Murphy. Gabriel Mann makes for a fine leading man, too. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Allen Y I saw this movie several times on TV as a kid and always liked it, it has a great small town fall aesthetic. It's definitely dated and a good time capsule into the 90's, so great for nostalgia. Watching it as an adult now it's a lot more silly than I remember as a kid, I enjoyed it again and it kept my attention but some of the acting is cheesy and almost reminds me of "the room" but it gives me laughs and does keep me guessing; so if you take it for what it is as a "black comedy" then I think it works. But would probably be better if we ever got the "uncut" version. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/22 Full Review Liam D Even though it has some choppy editing this is an entertaining and underrated slasher with a great cast Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/12/22 Full Review omg p This movie is built around teenage orgy, and they wanted a horror movie so they made a slasher with virgin killing maniac. Not worthy unless you are sailing the high seas and have nothing better to do. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review justin t This is not the worst but also not the best. It is a middling horror movie. I was disappointed with the lack of gory killing but the implied violence is pretty cool. The twist was interesting the first time but once remembered it becomes a bit stupid. The idea of having sex to stay alive is a good one and the teen orgy was genius but still handled in a generic manner. Worth a watch for horror fans.
