As a person who was unfamiliar with this musical and never saw this movie I thought it’s absolutely incredible! Of course I’ve seen clips and heard about “Chicago” but I never was invested. I didn’t even know who was gonna be in the movie. I had such a great time. Katherine and Renee simply understood the assignment. I will never look at them again in the same way I did before I saw THIS. This is brilliant!

I'd argue this is the best movie musical that's ever been made. Sleek, sexy, endlessly inventive, and biting dark humor. If I could only bring 5 movies to a desert island, this would be one of them. The acting, music, editing, sets, and costumes are stunning.
