J. R. Jones Chicago Reader Animation fans will find this worth the wait, though apparently there's no story-generating software that can tap into the dark recesses of a child's psyche as cannily as Uncle Walt once did. Nov 16, 2009 Full Review Olly Richards Empire Magazine Beyond a cheeky, twisty bit of genre-tinkering, there's more here for the under-tens than over-, but it's still charming, amusing and energetic enough to win you over. Rated: 3/5 Apr 1, 2006 Full Review Ed Gonzalez Slant Magazine Truly there's no sense of calm to the film, which feels as if it's been assembled with the manic energy of a preschooler trying to fit square-shaped plastic toys into circle-shaped holes. Rated: 1.5/4 Mar 11, 2006 Full Review Nick Rogers Midwest Film Journal Kids might see too much silence and thought as something they’d do in a timeout, so the alien frenzy is thrust too far forward. "Chicken Little" still is fun, even if you don’t quite believe all that it’s telling you. Rated: 3/4 Nov 9, 2023 Full Review Carson Timar ButteredPopcorn Outside of a few interesting designs, specifically with the aliens, and a couple of funny lines, Chicken Little is a disaster. Jan 23, 2023 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Herald Sun (Australia) The sky is falling, and so are the fortunes of this substandard animated comedy with each passing minute. Dale R Disney’s first attempt at computer animation. A few laughs are to be had, but overall this is just a mean spirited movie. Chicken Little’s father never supports him until the final act, the kids at the school are all bullies, just because he cried wolf once. The ending reason as to why the sky was falling seemed like a cop-out to me. The animation and character design are not great to look at. There are some creative ideas, but the movie just looks like Disney’s first attempt. Nothing stands out in the voice acting department, except that Chicken Little’s voice (Zach Braff) seemed too old for the character. This movie is not worth your time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Jack N Surprised at the hate on this movie. It is worth a watch with the family. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Ryland C BITE ME HATERS! THESE ARE JUST MY OPINION! Chicken Little is a cute Disney movie that needs more respect about a chicken kid who just wants to prove something to his toxic father and town that he is not an idiot. I really like Chicken Little (the character) I relate to him a lot. I had trouble fitting into society and also had trouble communicating and connecting to my dad just like him. I really felt for his character and he’s just an easy protagonist to like. I really like Chicken littles friends because of how supportive they are. (Yes even the pig who is kinda annoying) and overall I had a decent time watching it. Even though it is known as the 2 most hated Disney movies alongside Home on the Range in the eyes of a lot of people. The fact that Chicken Little is hated alongside Home on the Range is so embarrassing which I did make a Rotten Tomatoes review of. Chicken Little (the movie) gets hated on way too much. #RespectforChickenLittle. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Audience Member Good movie, don’t care what anyone says. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Chael B Kill me, please. NOW!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/16/24 Full Review Owen S I want to buy as many Chicken Little DVDs and set fire to them all and then go back in time to stop myself from watching this absolute waste of space movie.
