Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Rated: 0/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Walter Chaw Film Freak Central If I like the first sequel, Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice, it's because it doesn't seem to have any illusions about what it is and proceeds to have a good time with it. Rated: 3/4 Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Steve Newton Georgia Straight Corn II is so despicable that it makes the lowly Children of the Corn flick from '84 look good. Rated: 0/5 Jan 31, 2014 Full Review Stefan Birgir Stefans sbs.is All in all, it is entertaining which is more than can be said about the first one. That one suffered from uncontrollable dullness, which makes "The Final Sacrifice" a sequel that is better than the original. That isn't a high mark, but it's something. Liam D While improving on the original. It still suffers from the mumbo jumbo of the Children of the Corn and slasher cliches Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/15/24 Full Review Jelisije J A worthy sequel to the original Children of the corn film that takes place in a neighboring town that took in the kids of the first film and you get basically the first film again with more of lore exploration. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Elliott R How did we make it through the 90's? This movie hits the rotten trifecta - bad acting, bad writing, and simply a dumb story. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review justin t Looked pretty messy in places. The picture looked average at best. I didn't like the 4:3 frame. It was bad sound. It lacked bass. It was all top-heavy and sounded bad because of this. The old lady is the worst actress ever! The acting is substandard at best. There really was no story to speak of. It didn't offer anything new except the children taking another town and some pointless and mis-fitting native-American explanation. Bad film in every sense. It didn't even have any charm to make it fun. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review robert p What a terrible movie, the young man wearing a New York baseball shirt which is dumb, but the special effects are cheesy and it sports such incredibly bizzare death that make this movie even worse.
