All in all, it is entertaining which is more than can be said about the first one. That one suffered from uncontrollable dullness, which makes "The Final Sacrifice" a sequel that is better than the original. That isn't a high mark, but it's something. Entre eles, está Garret que leva o seu filho adolescente. Porém uma nova liderança religiosa surge entre as crianças. Se no primeiro filme, o casal formado pela Linda Hamilton e Peter Horton caíam de paraquedas na cidadezinha dominada por Isaac, aqui o filme segue mais a fórmula de filmes de terror com várias mortes causadas pelas crianças e os adultos negando a culpa delas. Há uma outra trama totalmente inútil envolvendo venda de milho contaminado, que não acrescenta nada. O elenco cumpre tabela em papéis mais estereotipados o possível. Talvez o destaque seja mesmo Ryan Bollman que faz o novo líder das crianças. Como o anterior, vai terminar em um ritual, mas muito mal filmado.
