It's been years since Chucky, the doll with the soul and the voice (Brad Dourif) of a psychopathic killer, was apparently destroyed in a fire at a doll factory. Now Chucky's manufacturer is remaking the same line of toys with the old, still haunted materials. This resurrects Chucky, who goes after Andy (Justin Whalin), his former owner, who now attends military school. Chucky slashes his way through a string of grotesque murders as Andy tries to stop the homicidal doll and the spirit within it.

These films are just getting worse...I always thought Chucky was one of the better slasher characters but the setting for this story just doesn't fit. This was also incredible boring compared to the previous films. Go to Full Review

This was a lackluster sequel that didn't make any sense and was missing all of the fun that comes with a crazy character like Chucky...very disappointing... Go to Full Review

[Writer Don Mancini] maintains still that Child's Play 3 is the worst of the franchise. History vindicates him in this belief. Go to Full Review

Maksim S Nov 28 Child’s Play 3 struggles to maintain the charm and tension of the first two films, feeling more like a routine extension than a fresh horror experience. Chucky remains the central menace, but the film leans heavily on predictable jump scares and formulaic set pieces, diluting the suspense that made the original so effective. The high school/army academy setting offers some creative scenarios, yet the story feels rushed, and character development is minimal. While diehard fans may enjoy the continued gore and Chucky antics, the movie lacks the balance of terror and dark humor that gave the first two films their enduring appeal. Entertaining in brief moments, but ultimately a weaker entry—2.5/5. See more John B. @rjcartoonist69 Nov 12 I’ve heard many fans of this franchise say that this was the worst of the many of Chucky’s endeavors, well to them I say, blasphemy! Child’s Play 3 is an underrated horror classic, a much darker in tone movie, that truly feels like the end of Chucky. My honorable mention goes to Justin Whalin delivering a satisfying PTSD performance as Andy! As for the whole “worst of the series” nonsense? That honor infinitely goes to what I easily consider the worst, Seed Of Chucky… See more Julian C. @juliancooper_12 Oct 28 This movie has the best kills and Chucky one-liners in the franchise. Brad Dourif went all out on this one. Justin Whalin does a great job of portraying an older version of Andy. My only negative with this movie is Tyler. His voice is too high-pitched and his character is annoying See more Jinnifer F Oct 24 What a fine piece of work. See more Ryan H. @RyGuy Oct 23 Chucky's blood is mixed in with a new doll when the Good Guys try to relaunch while Andy is in military school with a potentially new host for Chucky. There were some recasts and Chucky feels more like a trickster than a slasher in this film. See more gabrielle D Oct 20 It’s not my favorite in the franchise, but it’s still worth a watch if your looking for a movie franchise to binge watch See more Read all reviews
