matthias s @Thescreenasvor Oct 27 As someone who grew up with Scooby-Doo, Chill Out, Scooby-Doo! was a bit of a letdown. Casey Kasem’s Shaggy seems to have lost his trademark energy, and the story itself feels surprisingly flat. The mystery plays more like a tame stalker plot than a classic Scooby caper, missing the series’ usual spark. It’s watchable and competently made, but lacks the charm and cleverness that once defined the franchise. A chilly, middling entry.
