I really enjoyed this and my wife absolutely loved it. Funny, touching, wildly inventive and surprisingly effective. Really good stuff. A bit of an indie classic. Most of the film is delivered with deadpan humor, and it definitely can’t be classified as a horror comedy. It’s just kind of a sci-fi comedy of sorts with an interesting premise. The movie kind of leaves parts of it unexplained and just throws in facts to move the plot along. It’s easy to pick up and has a satisfying conclusion, but it definitely has a B movie quality most people will think is a breezy way to spend 87 minutes or become disinterested in the film quickly.
