Siobhán N I watched this through my fingers with secondhand embarassment. A cringefest of stage-Irish nonsense where the writers obviously did no research. There are no titles in Ireland but you wouldn't walk two yards without tripping over an earl, baron or duchess in this. No Irish person would tip their hat at an English title, not to mention the atrotious mistranslation of phrases. Do your research and perhaps read a history book before writing drivel. I didn't sense any real chemistry between leads Lacey Chabert and Stuart Townsend, but they still suit each other relatively well onscreen. The support cast aren't all that and the (somewhat minimal) special effects are... not good. The setting of the Republic of Ireland is neat though.
