Barbie B The male leads in this rom com are great! However, the female lead is such an unlikable character. Throwing tantrums left and right which leave you asking why? She’s always upset in this movie and it takes away from the essence of this movie. The writing missed the mark. This could’ve been great. But not even close Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Ric W The writing was bad, the acting was awkward and the conflicts were forced, but it was good for what it was supposed to be, a completely feel good holiday romantic movie. The movie was a quick watch, and I was left with a smile and a little tear in my eye. I also wanted to immediately start decorating for the holidays. That’s the purpose of a holiday movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/20/24 Full Review Kristin R A typical Hallmark Christmas movie, but with over the top cringe. The "conflict" comes out of nowhere, with no reasonable basis. Unfortunately, this movie's terrible writing ruins decent acting performances. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/14/24 Full Review Irina B Christmas on Notting Hill tries so hard to be cute, but the writing and the acting are awkward, cringy, and amaturish at best. Many scenes are painful to watch. The London setting at Christmas is quite beautiful, although the film tends to focus on shopping more than any historical sights. Honestly, not a lot to enjoy in this film besides the scenery, but if you like Hallmark Christmas Romance movies and watch them regularly, you can check this one off your Nice list. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/12/24 Full Review Caz H This is a painfully bad film with added cheese. It is that poor, it is actually quite cringeworthly funny at times. The acting is fine but this seems to be “London” through American eyes so completely inauthentic. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/09/24 Full Review Liesl H I really enjoyed it but I love anything set in London and I loved the soccer storyline.
