Jan K Jan K. Dumbest disaster movie I’ve ever seen. Casper Van Dien should be ashamed he was in this most flat, one dimensional, nothing, movie!! Just mindless dialogue. What a disappointment! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Zachary Jacob S Christmas Twister has to be the most soulless film I've seen in a long time. It's not to the "so bad it's good" level, like, "The Amazing Bulk". It's purely a waste of time. Cringe dialog and acting. A forgettable score. EXTREMELY unlikable and shallow characters. And no real story. Nothing really happens? I mean things happen, but it doesn't feel like it. By far one of the most maddening films I've ever seen. Would NOT recommend. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review Jason M D yep this was so bad and boring the story and plot was very bad i did not like this movie at all Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/23/24 Full Review Mr. I I pissed my pants :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Fat L This movie had so much potential, but instead, it's a bunch of dumb yahoos who don't even warn each other when they're staring straight at the storm. Literally nobody screams the word Tornado even though they see it coming. They just stare blankly at it frozen and then slowly run in circles trying to think of where to hide. I mean really at the mall the carolers just run past a bunch of people without uttering the word tornado, that's not realistic. There would have been people shouting "tornado" and "over here". Just really badly done. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Jeff M While I certainly can't recommend it, this is not the disaster that I anticipated (and secretly hoped for). True, the special effects are just a step or two above SHARKNADO and the acting unmemorable, but a lot of it is just cheesy fun. And if it didn't take itself quite so seriously, this could have been a keeper. There are some classically bad scenes here, including the demise of a news anchorperson that is hilarious. And a mind-blowingly horrendous performance by Christina DeRosa as a news producer featuring the worst Southern accent I've ever heard in my life. But, you know, when all is said and done, I can't say I had a horrible time watching this. I wouldn't put it on a double bill with TWISTER - the thought of that is absurd. But I do have a sweet spot for disaster movies, even sub-par ones, and I'd be willing to watch it again if I had nothing better to do. Again, not a recommendation, but I was mildly entertained and had a couple unintentional laughs. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Read all reviews
