I wasn't even truly watching it, just for background noise, and I couldn't even ignore it enough to watch it for that. Christmas Twister...more like Christmas DISASTER. See more Andrew R Jan 4 This ISN'T a disaster movie.....the movie itself IS the disaster. As someone who wanted to be a filmmaker as a career it always puzzles me why ANY producer or company with a couple of extra dollars would invest money into doo doo like this. The guy with the broken down truck that gets sucked up into the tornado had me chuckling, it was worth a rewind. I would even say the idea of a giant tornado during the Christmas season, at the end of December is preposterous in itself.....unfortunately I HAVE been IN a serious tornado on Christmas. In the wee hours of the morning before dawn on Christmas morning 1987(COULD have been 1988)....A large tornado tore through Williamson County Tennessee, through the town of Franklin and several smaller surrounding communities, several people were killed, extensive damage was done. The trees along the bank of the large creek behind our house were uprooted.....the bank and creek bed looked like they had been turned over upside down. There was so much rain the night before it turned our creek into a small roaring river.....and it was SO warm that Christmas day the neighborhood kids and I took the inflatable rafts from our swimming pools and went swimming and rafting down the creek.I remember I was worried that Sana Claus and his reindeer were killed in the storm lol Sadly, the story I just told has more substance and is more interesting than even 60 seconds of this "movie" And I would rather be in ANOTHER tornado than have to sit through the rest of this lol The ONLY things that I can say are even remotely interesting about this useless drivel are the fact that I'd say I'm about 99 9 percent certain this poopy was inspired by the Christmas tornado experience I lived through because I cannot recall, in my lifetime, another F-4 tornado hitting a community on Christmas Eve/Christmas morning....giant tornadoes and temperatures in the 70s during late December are NOT even remotely normal in Tennessee.....temperatures are usually in the 20s-40s this time of year and this area is more known for it's disastrous ice storms this time of winter than severe thunderstorms and tornadoes. I've been through several nasty ice storms on Christmas during Christmastime....including one REALLY foul, nasty ice storm that left us without electricity and heat through Christmas Eve and Christmas day....it's a SERIOUS bummer when you get a brand new Nintendo game system for Christmas and can't plug up or enjoy the gift you begged for nonstop and been impatiently waiting on for months....for 3 days....who cares about the heat not working, I have a jacket, I want my Nintendo NOW! The writer and producer of this "thing" had a lotta gall and lotta courage to make and unleash this poo poo to the moviegoing public 😐🤢🤮 See more Read all reviews
