Aqui temos Carrie, a Estranha, se encontra com a Cinderela. É um desfile de maldades e crueldades contra personagem principal. O conto de fada serve como uma base no início, mas a história é mito conhecida. então dá-lhe o exagero. Temos um banho de sangue, com uma mistura de bons efeitos práticos e outros risíveis. É um filme de baixíssimo orçamento, que pode ser constatado pelo figurino (que não tem nada de época) e as maquiagens utilizadas. O elenco é horrível. O roteiro deixa pontas soltas, como o que era aquela sequência inicial do filme e o destino do filho de uma das empregadas da casa. Outra coisa risível é falar que o sapatinho era de cristal, sendo nítido que ele é de plástico transparente. E transformá-lo em arma também é duro. Apesar disso, eu me diverti com o filme. Look, it's not gonna win any Oscars, but if you're down for some good ol' guts and gore, especially the body horror kind, this flick delivers. Basically, they crank up the evil stepmother and stepsister vibes to eleven. You're gonna hate these people. And that's kind of the point. They do a solid job making you root for Cinderella's inevitable, bloody payback. When it finally comes, and trust me, it comes, it's pretty damn satisfying. It's not groundbreaking. It's not gonna keep you up at night with existential dread. But, it's fun. Like, grab some beers, get some popcorn, and gather your crew. You'll have a blast watching Cinderella go full-on rage mode. It's a perfect Friday night flick for when you just wanna see some over-the-top horror and cheer for the underdog... who's now covered in blood. If you're into that sort of thing, "Cinderella's Curse" is a perfectly acceptable, if not slightly cheesy, revenge-horror ride. Don't expect art, expect chaos.
