Stefnie This movie is a must watch! Nothing like your typical gang/violence movie. This movie places you in each scene as if it you are there, no added visuals or sound effect, just raw real life sounds. A little slow in the beginning but it draws you in, and makes you want to pay attention ti the full story, not just the action. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/22 Full Review Stl_Pat A little slow and very gory!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/22 Full Review Dave V The movie was very slow moving. The first hour dragged on and it was not easy to follow what was happening. There was no background given to put the movie in context. It had some good action when it finally got to it, but I came close to turning it off. It took way to long to get to the action. I would say skip it unless you have nothing else to watch. Nobody uses a gun? I don't think so. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Edward G Yes, it's formulaic - good guy with "skills" turned bad guy for a good cause - but it's really good for what it is. Brody was great, you really felt for his character. In the same manner as The Equalizer, it had me riveted the entire 90 minutes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Alain M Clean" earns a commendable 3.5 stars, driven by Adrien Brody's stellar performance and a narrative that presents a more nuanced take on the action genre. Brody's portrayal adds a layer of depth to the film, elevating it beyond a conventional action movie. Drawing comparisons to the high-octane pace of "John Wick," "Clean" distinguishes itself with a slower, more character-driven approach. This deliberate pacing allows for a richer exploration of the characters, creating a more immersive and engaging experience for the audience. In the end, "Clean" stands out as a compelling entry in the action genre, blending intense sequences with character depth. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/24 Full Review jacek j It was really good. Gritty, dark, real. Not a glorified, special effects filled, typical Hollywood cr..p, but real, just how the life is in a really tough neighborhood. It could use a bit better "polish", but it was really good. Acting was surprisingly good too. I would give it more than 3.5 stars if the ending would have a bit more closure and clarity (it left me wanting to know more) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/06/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Kevin Maher Times (UK) [A] Taxi Driver wannabe. It’s not even close, obviously, to the Scorsese classic, but it’s perfectly serviceable entertainment with a moody, brooding heart. Rated: 3/5 Jul 1, 2022 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian Our hero barely says much at all, leaving it to Brody to do a lot of acting with those big sad eyes. It makes the film feel a bit like a silent movie but not one of the good ones. Rated: 2/5 Jun 29, 2022 Full Review Max Maller Chicago Reader Every great actor wants his chance to be Clint Eastwood...Sadly, these stark textures never redeem the film's tired savior narrative, which would-be poignant moments gesture towards inverting... Jan 28, 2022 Full Review Samuel Leggett Jr. JVS Media & Productions/Team JVS Clean is something you will definitely have a lot of fun with. This is a very dark film and at times it can down right tragic where the narrative flowers, but I do think its worth watching for stunts, choreography, intensity and acting from Brody sells it Rated: 7.5/10 Dec 26, 2022 Full Review Emiliano Basile EscribiendoCine Clean waffles between being a conventional action film like Death Wish (1974) and Scorsese's social parable [Taxi Driver, 1976]. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 6/10 Jul 19, 2022 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall The plot simply follows the same trajectory as every other redemption-revenge movie, which may be fine for casual viewers. But anyone wanting something pointed or meaningful will be disappointed. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 12, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
