Our hero barely says much at all, leaving it to Brody to do a lot of acting with those big sad eyes. It makes the film feel a bit like a silent movie but not one of the good ones.

Clean is something you will definitely have a lot of fun with. This is a very dark film and at times it can down right tragic where the narrative flowers, but I do think its worth watching for stunts, choreography, intensity and acting from Brody sells it

The plot simply follows the same trajectory as every other redemption-revenge movie, which may be fine for casual viewers. But anyone wanting something pointed or meaningful will be disappointed.

This movie is a must watch! Nothing like your typical gang/violence movie. This movie places you in each scene as if it you are there, no added visuals or sound effect, just raw real life sounds. A little slow in the beginning but it draws you in, and makes you want to pay attention ti the full story, not just the action.

Secretive guy with a past trying to blend in forced to come out of retirement due to circumstance beyond his control to exact revenge a cliche. This one drags on for over half the movie before becoming too hyperbolically dystopian on every level. Everything from the constant overcast sky, to the winter months, everything dirty, even smelly fish and ultra evil bad guys contemplating doing horrible things to innocents just too dark, dark, dark. Could have used a lot more nuance but opted to take a meat cleaver to the entire movie rhetorically speaking.
