Diego Semerene Slant Magazine A raw, sophisticated, and stomach-turning look at what it means to be a young woman in Serbia, what it means to be a woman tout court. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 15, 2013 Full Review Farran Smith Nehme New York Post The aesthetic, if you can call it that, is almost entirely derived from amateur porn. Everything's the color of putty or concrete, and that includes the faces; I've seen prettier prison movies. Rated: 1/4 Mar 15, 2013 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times The film's brutally honest parade of callous behavior and casual, almost cruel sex has a depressing prurience that wears you down. Rated: 2/5 Mar 14, 2013 Full Review Vladan Petkovic Cineuropa This is a global problem, and by putting it into a local context, Milo has managed to tell a universal story. Aug 14, 2020 Full Review Ard Vijn ScreenAnarchy Clip is certainly competently made and bravely acted by its young cast. But I never felt like I took anything with me after I finished watching the screening Jan 14, 2020 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Manages to transcend shock value and challenge us with something to say. Audience Member A smartphone-film that is uncomfortable to watch, while failing to deliver a meaningful story. The very poor country of Serbia is likely worse off for its production. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Clip depicts with extreme brutal-realism the girl-to-woman transition of the young protagonist Jasna. To achieve this, director Maja Milos only uses smartphone taken videos and plays with the contemporary obsession for videos and images of the younger generations. The role of the new media i.e. the smartphone in the sexual life gets to a new level together with the omnipresent aggressiveness of Serbia, the drug-consumption and the party environment. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member There's some idea behind that soft porn, but without reading reviews, I wouldn't even notice it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/21/15 Full Review Audience Member Una película cruda, agresiva, complicada... una mirada a la realidad de una joven en un barrio de Serbia que dista mucho de la vida color de rosa de occidente. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The only thing that can be saved in this meaningless film is that the serbian director Maja Milos shows us the young society in one of the poorest countries in Europe. Apart that, there's a bad developped story and... pornography. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member bold serbian film with passionate performance from the lead actress.
