Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A direct-to-video dreary zombie movie. Rated: C Jan 1, 2009 Full Review David Cornelius Hollywood Bitchslap This is the sort of horror film that hooks you from frame one with both smarts and frights. Rated: 4/5 Sep 5, 2006 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...there's simply no overlooking the general sense of incompetence that's been hard-wired into virtually every aspect of the production. Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 4, 2006 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com The Plague certainly isn't an awful little chiller flick, but given its crafty opening premise (and the attached name of Clive Barker), I was hoping for a little more from the follow-through. Mary Kate M Ok, so it's an older movie, but it's a fun ride! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/22/23 Full Review Ben E A vaguely interesting idea executed without imagination. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/25/23 Full Review Ash P Clive Barker's The Plague: For a title called The Plaque and directed by Clive Barker who is famous with some of his works, you'd think it'd be interesting, right? Sadly, it's not the case since it's confusing to most parts and the cast were just there. I'll admit, a couple of scenes were pleasant but the rest, just boring and even the deaths weren't that impressive. Hell, the way the kids were going through and ten years later becoming psychotic without explanation was also boring. The ending was okay, I guess, but it doesn't really save much since it was slow that even Cooties involving Zombie Children were more subtle. For the most, I'd feel sorry for Clive for making something like this. Rating: 2/10 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/18/23 Full Review Sean S 30 minutes into the movie, nothing going on. Finally some action with poorly made up zombies, bad acting and writing. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review Mark B Premise starts out fairly strong but becomes a low budget zombie movie that has an ending that makes no sense. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/05/23 Full Review Surreptitious C Clive barkers name is thrown around as having produced this, but oop was this a boring yawn fest. More likely a production company check with no input from the master. Just really bad, with things like characters taking long pauses as if trying to remember their lines, to just bad set dressing and lighting. If I can just have one of you avoid it like the plague then my job is done. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
