The humor is there but it shows up a little later in the movie, then it rolls. There are some hilarious scenes if you give the movie enough time to get past a really mouthy kid. This kid was too much for me at first but with Ed Helms and Betty Gilpin in the movie, I gave it an honest chance that paid off. And I mean it. When the humor kicks in, it stays on that level. Don't miss out on this one just because a lot of other reviews are calling it a hot mess.
