I`ve seen Cohen and Tate when it had his very short run in german theatres and sometimes I come back to this movie and still love it...dark, grim, bloody with a great ending. Scheider and Baldwin are excellent.

Decent little road movie, with a unique twist on it. Scheider is great as usual, but Baldwin is a little too over the top at times. The kid is surprisingly good. It's quite the dark movie actually.

Roy Scheider is perfect casting as the hardened pro Cohen, who tells his partner he's been doing this job for 30 years; you just have to look at that Mount Rushmore profile to know what he's been through.

Given the restrictions of being a first-time director on a limited budget, Red didn't conceive Cohen & Tate to be different than other films of its ilk. He just opted to do it better.
