Prairie Miller NewsBlaze Macy as the grumpy security company head and the two mismatched misfits assigned to cemetery duty that he supervises - a reticent health nut and a macho beer guzzling junk food enthusiast - make for a trio radiating goof chemistry galore. Audience Member Great dialogue, and extremely funny. I suppose a bit morbid, but only secondary to the premise. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Very slow, tons of pointless dialogue, and a Hipster's sensibility kept me rolling me eyes throughout. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member There is something about Colin Fitz Lives! that I can't quit put my finger on. It's such a likable movie. It has this kinda grunge, devil may care, non sense sensibility, characteristic of the late 1990's. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Cast: John C. McGinley, Matt McGrath, William H. Macy, Andy Fowle, Julianne Phillips, Robert Bella, Will McCormack, Erik Jensen, Martha Plimpton, Mary McCormack, Chris Bauer Director: Robert Bella Summary: Knowing her rock star husband's grave will attract unwanted attention on the anniversary of his death, a widow (Julianne Phillips) hires two easily distracted security guards (Matt McGrath and Andy Fowle) to watch over it. But it doesn't stop kooky characters (including William H. Macy, Martha Plimpton, John C. McGinley, Mary McCormack and Chris Bauer) from stopping by to pay their respects. My Thoughts: "Definitely not a great comedy or movie for that matter. There were some funny moments. The acting was spotty. Some did well and others were awful. Seen it on the Sundance channel and thought why not. Well now I know I should have just NOT have clicked play." Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member ******CONTAINS A COUPLE SPOILERS********* I'm normally pretty good about analyzing movies and reading-between-the- lines, but there are way too many pieces of this movie that are totally unnecessary. The dog, the wife of Colin Fitz, the kid with the gun, . Each of them were very VERY small pieces but none of them were complete pieces to contribute ANYTHING to the story. The 'comedy' was meh. Unless you get laughs out of socially awkward people, you'll only get a chuckle once or twice. I seriously don't understand how people could think of this movie as "The Best Film Never Released". I can see why it wasn't released, it's slow, incomplete in ideas, and ultimately the big climactic scene is essentially a 4 minute "life isn't that bad" speech. Absolutely no suspense like you should have when you first portray a character as a shady guy with a gun hiding in the shadows. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
