Audience Member Jack Benny is always fun to watch, as is George Burns and Gracie Allen. It's fun, but offer a strange message about breeding perfect white children. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Another musical comedy in Paramount's endless string of college musicals; the usual cast of zanies and a so-so score. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member In the mood for a musical comedy about eugenics? Well look no further than this Jack Benny, George Burns and Gracie Allen comedy. Made in 1936, before the Nazi Germany eugenics related atrocities were widely known, this was certainly a plot line that would not have been included just a few years later. But putting that offensive element aside (not to mention the blackface tap dance number), Burn, Allen and Benny provide enough witty moments to make this quite dated film entertaining if you're in the mood for an old timey comedy.
