Synopsis
Emily, who is Deaf, is not allowed to learn Sign Language. Her Mother insists she learn lip-reading and to speak. One day, they both wish upon a star, and in freaky Friday style, they switch bodies until they can resolve their differences. The mother gets to experience what life is like for her Deaf daughter. They come to an understanding and, together, learn American Sign Language, and are both happier together.
